16/3/2025 - Lisbon, Portugal
Free online webinar: 20/2/2025 at 19:00 PM
Oftentimes, hearing about attachment styles leads to a feeling of being flawed, despair,
and being stuck at a dead-end...
This workshop will give you a reason to have hope for love!
About the Workshop
Why do our difficulties in our closest and most important relationships keep repeating themselves, over and over?
-
How does our early attachment conditioning influence our relationships throughout life?
-
Why do we argue or feel stressed in romantic relationships? What's the path toward feeling Safe within love?
-
What deep heart longings do we have in relationships? How much do we feel they're being met?
-
What expectations do we have of the most important people in our lives? How positive or negative are they?
-
How much compassion do we have toward ourselves? And why is this sometimes so inaccessible to us...
-
Do we recognize our distress, and if so, who do we turn to when things get difficult?
All the answers to these questions were learned in our first school of relationships, somewhere at the beginning of life, and everything we learned served us and helped us reach and become who we are today.
This half-day workshop is for people on a journey of embodied personal growth, as well as those working as therapists, facilitators, teachers, practitioners, and others in the helping professions who work with people.
What to Expect
♥ We'll explore attachment theory as it applies to adults and learn to identify which "software version" is running behind the scenes and potentially managing our relationships (especially the recurring conflicts within them...)
♥ We'll discover how to recognize these patterns through Mindful - Somatic, experiential and subtle practice and open the possibility of something different, nurturing, and new for us
♥ We'll practice a unique meditation technique—a research-validated roadmap based on secure attachment principles—so that we can experience the feeling of being in a safe relationship, land in togetherness rather than being stuck alone, and find comfort and rest from life's challenges.
In a relationship, the difficulties and pains that arise in adult bonding appear mainly in a romantic relationship (but not only), which relates to this moment when I really need closeness and emotional support. Right then, my partner goes to the screen and I feel really alone and lonely, and it repeats itself in different versions.
Or, am I always used to leaning on myself and needing my space within the relationship and experiencing misunderstanding and tension in the face of the other's need for continuous closeness, And our fights about this keep repeating themselves and I am exhausted and despairing.
It could be that our main difficulty is entering into a meaningful relationship or that for years I find myself not committing to a relationship due to recurring doubts that do not give rest and so on...
To Understand and know myself deeply and get a map for love relationships
The attachment theory for adults is a psychological map based on research and a breakthrough for love. It teaches us how to create an emotionally safe relationship and restore closeness in our lives and the relationships that are most important to us, and this path begins with a deeper and closer relationship with ourselves.
Whether we are in a relationship or currently single, whether we are parents of children or children of parents, attachment theory makes things makes sense, and opens doors to new possibilities, which touch the deepest heart and bring relief, joy, gratitude, and liberation.
How will we do it?
With the help of iIntegrative knowledge from the worlds of somatic-mindful attachment, we will establish contact, gently and with a lot of respect and deep listening, with our attachment system, we will learn, observe, be intrigued, track the traces of the past, in the present, and, hopefully, we will discover one new and significant thing about ourselves and perhaps we will also leave with an exciting spark of faith iIn connection and love.
The workshop will combine a theoretical part and an experiential part, which includes gentle and attentive exercises in pairs,
And personal work and with each other.
Who is it especially for?
The workshop is suitable not only for therapists and not only for those in a relationship but for anyone who is on the path of personal development and wants to get to know the attachment theory better and more closely. There is an need to come with previous experience in mindfulness.
it is also good if you have previous experience in fields related to body-based methods such as biosynthesis, Hakomi, somatic experiencing, Rosen method, Greenberg method, Feldenkrais, and more.
